Privacy Notice
Property inquiries deserve discretion.
Last updated: August 27, 2026.
Information you submit
When you request a screening, Root2Room may receive your name, contact information, property location, tree information, project notes, access information, and photographs you choose to upload.
How we use it
We use inquiry information to evaluate whether a potential tree-reuse project appears practical, communicate with you, maintain records of the inquiry, and—when you request or agree to it—facilitate introductions to independent service providers that may be relevant to the project.
Photographs
Property and tree photographs are treated as project-submission material. Do not upload images you do not have the right to share. Avoid including people, license plates, security-system details, or other unnecessary personal information in photographs when possible.
Sharing
We do not sell inquiry information as a standalone data product. Information may be shared with service providers that support website hosting or communications, and with independent project providers when needed for a requested introduction or evaluation.
Retention & security
We may retain inquiry records for legitimate business, recordkeeping, dispute-prevention, and legal purposes. No electronic system is perfectly secure, so please do not submit highly sensitive information through the website.
Contact
Questions about an inquiry or privacy request can be sent to ecroce21@gmail.com.
This preliminary notice should be reviewed by counsel before a large-scale public launch, particularly if the business later meets statutory privacy-law thresholds or begins using additional analytics, advertising, or customer-management systems.
